Toccara Jones became popular and in the public eye during her stint on the third seasons of America’s Next Top Model. In fact, AOL Entertainment voted her one of the most memorable contestants on the show and for good reason due to the career she has gone on to enjoy. Toccara Jones was signed as a plus size model with Wilhelmina Models after her stint on America’s Next Top Model. She has appeared in the pages and on the covers of many prestigious magazines including Ebony, Black Men, The Next Level Magazine, Braids, King, and Black Hair.
Toccara Jones has modeled for some well known brands and companies. These include Target, Avon, Torrid, Ashley Stewart, and New York and Company. Her body may be considered plus size by modeling standards, but she is a more accurate representation of the average woman and a wonderful woman to model clothes.
She has appeared on many television shows as herself and playing roles. These include Girlfriends, All of Us, The Tyra Banks Show, E! True Hollywood Story, Celebrity Fit Club, I Got a Thang for You, America’s Next Top Model, Take the Cake, 106 and Park among others. She appeared in all of these shows after her appearance on America’s Next Top Model.
Toccara Jones may not have won the modeling contest, but she certainly did make a name for herself and a career due to her involvement in the show. It’s great to see a real woman make a name for herself in the modeling world especially considering she weighs more than your average model. She certainly is not fat, but has a shapely body many find very attractive. She is refreshing to see in modeling clothes simply because she represents what most women look like.
